William Erwin III
On March 31, 2012 of Washington Twp. Age 78. Beloved father of William Erwin, IV Susan, and the late Karen Kindley. Loving grandfather of Annemarie, Shane, Ellen and Liam. Proud great-grandfather of James Patrick. Dear brother of Katheryn Pigott and John Isaccs. William had a special place in his heart for the Meagher family, especially his god-daughter Lisa Shusko.
William graduated from the University of Maryland and was a Captain in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam era. He was an account manager for the Travelers Insurance Company until his retirement. William was an avid tennis player throughout his adult life. Post work, he enjoyed traveling the world and summers at the beach in Stone Harbor. William was also an avid patron of the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Curtis Institute.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday 9:00-10:30 am at the Egizi Funeral Home 119 Ganttown Rd. Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, Washington Twp. Interment Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro.
