On October 28, 2019 of Washington Twp. Age 42, passed away due to a tragic accident. He is the son of William D. Murphy IV and the late Patricia Murphy (nee Ryan). Loving brother to Colleen Vanderslice (Joe) and Joe Murphy (Danielle). Godfather to Joseph and uncle to Kylee, Leo, & Liam. A great nephew and cousin.
Bill had such deep love for all his family and friends. Anyone that knew Bill would agree that he was a tornado of joy! He was the guy that would give you the shirt off his back if he knew you were in need. He had a heart of gold and was loved by all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday 9:00 am-12:00 pm at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 12:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in William’s memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 550 Mickle Blvd. Camden, NJ 08103.

Mr. Murphy, Joe, Colleen..... I don't know where to begin. My heart is saddened in the worst way for your lose. I can close my eyes and picture driving Billy to school senior year, when he had a cast on his leg, and our brief trips we're always filled with uncontrollable laughter. Billy had that way of saying something that would just crack me up out of nowhere. I frequently would join Billy scratching off lottery tix, as we both had an affinity towards them. We were brought close in ways that many wouldn't understand. With tears in my eyes I say goodbye to a friend, but I smile thanking the cosmic forces for Billy's gentle kind soul making me laugh & smile at some of the worst times in my life. I will never forget you Billy, thank you for being my friend. This isn't goodbye, it's see you later.... Matt
