Walter Medycki, Jr.

On April 22, 2026, of Washington Twp. Age 82. Beloved husband of Loretta (nee Sciore). Devoted father of Walter Medycki III, Carrie Medycki, the late Joseph Medycki; and his stepsons Thomas Venti (Troy Carey) and Joseph Venti (Miriam). Loving grandfather of Tatum. Dear brother of Thomas Medycki, Johnny Medycki (Carol), and the late Maryann Medycki.

Walter was a proud police officer with the Philadelphia Police Department for 8 years. He also volunteered as a firefighter with the Philadelphia Fire Department.

He loved to collect trains, was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. He loved to work on cars and always had a motorcycle, for a time riding with the Knights.

Walter was very generous, always looking to help people. He will be remembered for his kindness and thoughtfulness.

Family and friends are welcome to attend his viewing Thursday, April 30^th 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Walter’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
