Our hearts are hurting to hear of Vito's passing. Our love and sincere condolences go out to all of his family. Vito was surely one in a million! He had a heart of gold and an infectious smile. We are so grateful that we had the pleasure of knowing him. He took my daughter, Emily, under his wings when she was just a teenager. Vito was her first boss in the working world and he taught her great work ethics that carried on throughout her life. He became her friend and mentor and gave her many words of wisdom and "inside jokes". Vito also became a friend to us and it was always a great pleasure chatting with him and sharing stories (especially about Italy). He has even bigger wings now for he is truly an angel in heaven looking down on all who mourn him. May you find comfort in all the wonderful thoughts that people are sharing here.

The Johnson/Tesche Family left a message on June 6, 2023:
For years, Vito greeted my children and I with a smile. Always came over to talk to them about school/sports and never failed to ask me how my parents were doing (he knew them for years as well). Vito’s smile was contagious, you couldn’t help but feel happy to see him. I’d run into him at the convenience store sometimes too and we’d sit for 10-20 minutes and do scratch offs. The world lost a great man who made a significant impact on the community. God bless ??
