My deepest sympathy to the Jackson family . Vinny was a true gentleman and one of the most sincere people to ever grace the floor of the PHLX . I will always remember him with a smile on his face . It was an honor to work beside and know him .
I am sure he has already found a place to fish and a disc golf course in heaven !
Rest in peace Vincent . And may God bless the Jackson family .

Vinny was a nice person. great guy .always had a smile on his face. Rest in peace .
Vinnie was one of the good ones. He took me under his arm when I joined Eddie's team and was kind and big hearted all the way. Heaven is a better place today with a soul like his to watch over his lovely children.
"God's finger touched him, and he slept." - Alfred Lord Tennyson
Sleep in peace Vinnie.

WHAT A SAD WEEK FOR ALL OF THE PHLX CREW. TWO REALLY NICE GUYS PASSED AWAY. VINCE WAS LIKED BY EVERYBODY. HE WAS A TERRIFIC BA** BUSTER. I REMEMBER LAUGHING WITH HIM ALL THE TIME.
HIS PASSING SHOULD REMIND ALL OF US HOW PRECIOUS LIFE TRULY IS.
IN THE WORDS OF THE GREAT JOHN LENNON ( ALL WE NEED IS LOVE )
From the many comments I can see, Mr. Jackson was a loving, caring, and devoted man. Please notice how we have the hope of seeing our loved ones again found at John 5:28,29. I beg that you allow these words to comfort you all. Revelations 21:4. My deepest sympathy.
My most sincere condolences to Vinny's family. May God be with you in your time of sorrow.
I will surely miss you my friend, but I will always remember skiing in the Pocono mountains and fishing in the lakes of New Jersey with you. Gone way too soon.
I am so very sorry for your great loss..
Vinny was such a special part of so many lives, he will never be forgotten,
he will be always missed.

WHAT A GREAT FRIEND TO SAY THOSE KIND WORDS. LOSING LIFELONG FRIENDS IS SO HARD!
Hello Dawm, thank you so much for thinking of me. It was really appreciated.
I will truly miss you Vince, too many good times and memories to list, and to Vinny's family, you will all be in my prayers,
God Bless You all.
Sincerely,
Joseph Ciraolo and family
Other people are saying it, and it is clearly true, Vinnie Jackson was one of the best people on the PHLX (during the time I was there, certainly). It is easy in this situation to remember just the good, forget the bad, to put a fine face on the dearly departed, but in this case, it WAS good, and Vinnie had a fine face all on his own.
I see his face in my mind now, I am sure I won't forget it.
Rest in Peace.
To the family and friends of Vince, my deepest sympathies. As you can see from the heartfelt comments - please know your husband/father/brother/friend was a kind person and truly was one of the good guys.

We are truly saddened to hear of Vince's sudden passing. Our daughter, Tracey has kept us up-to-date on the happenings in the Jackson family throughout the years. She rarely speaks about Etting St. without mentioning all of you. Although she continued her friendship with the girls, she was very happy to have reconnected with Vince awhile ago on Facebook and said he was a great guy with a beautiful family. The tributes that have poured in for Vince confirm that, and are a touching testament to the character of this very special man.
We extend our sincere condolences to Vince's wife and children, to his mom,Vicky, his siblings Jeannette, Margaret and Keith, his friends, co-workers and to all who knew and loved him.
Please know we are keeping you close in thought and prayer at this very difficult time.

Vince was one of my very first friends since childhood as far as my memory goes back. We were neighbors on Etting Street just 2 doors apart. We were both same age and in same grade in school. I'm certain that I reminded Vince on more than one occassion that I had seniority being 5 months older than him. His family quickly adopted me as an extended member of their family and I have the fondest memories of my childhood thanks to the entire Jackson family. My friendship with Vince's sisters evolved over the years to become my little sisters and I'm sure there were many times that Vince felt smothered in girl drama by not only his 2 younger sisters, but by his "older sister" as well. When Keith was born, he stole all the attention from all the girls with his extreme cuteness and we felt like we had our own human baby doll to play with. Over time, there was a clear divide between the girls & boys playing together, but somehow the girls always managed to work our way into the boy's sports games, roller skating, bike riding and summertime games we played on the street. We came up with more games to play using balls, bottlecaps and/or tin cans and occassionally a stolen broom from the house to play halfies and stick ball. Vince was a good kid growing up and being the son of a Philly cop didn't allow much time for hanging with the wrong crowd, or experimenting with bad stuff...he put all his energy into sports and became a great role model for younger kids in our neighborhood. Vince and I both married our childhood sweethearts and had two children. While we lost touch over the years after moving away from the neighborhood, I was very happy to reconnect with him on Facebook and kept up to date on his life, new marriage, new daughter, his big fish catches, his trips, our kids, etc. My heart sank the day his sister asked for our prayers to pull him thru a recent illness and then my heart broke the other day when I heard of his passing. We may never understand why Vince was taken so young, but I have to believe that God needed him more. My deepest sympathies to his Mother, Children, Wife, Siblings, nephews, neices, colleagues and friends. I've learned so much more about Vince from all the comments his friends and family have posted and I am honored to have been his friend. Only TIME will help to heal all the broken hearts that Vince has left behind but let us take this opportunity to remember Vince, Vinny, Squeak with some random acts of kindness because that is the glaring characteristic that everyone mentioned in just how "KIND" Vince was. RIP Vince and wishing you eternal fishing with your Pop in Heaven.

thank u so very much Sue xo
Squeak, as we knew him, has been a part of our lives for as long as we can remember. So many great memories that we couldn't even begin to list them. We always looked forward to his yearly trip to visit us on the Allegheny over the 4th and, of course, get trapped out on the water in the pontoon after fireworks. We will have to retire the "easy up rope" in your memory. My heart breaks for Erika and Brian -- your dad loved you more than words could ever say. Alyssa, I'm so sorry you have to go through this...it hurts us to know your in pain. My dear, sweet friend Karen, Squeak's greatest gift to me was bringing you into my life - I connected with you from day 1 and you've been one of my best friends ever since......my heart truly hurts for you and I will be there by your side every step of the way. Even though I'm in another state, I am only a phone call away and will do all I can to comfort you and help get you through. Sending prayers of comfort to all of you.
Love you,
Matt, Renee, Zack and Jenna
