Vincent F. Esposito, Jr.
On September 9, 2026, of Glassboro, passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
Beloved husband of Susan (nee Malecki), and a Devoted father to his two daughters, Barbara Dashefsky and her husband David and Christina Smith and her husband Jeffrey. Loving grandfather of Parker.
My dad was one of the most giving and caring people I knew. He was always taking care of someone, making sure no one felt left out and that no one was ever alone for a holiday. That was just who he was.
He was also my sister’s and my biggest cheerleader. Whether he was coaching our softball teams, supporting us through all of our marching band years, traveling with us, or simply being proud of the smallest things we did, Dad was always there.
As I got older, that never changed. He was so proud of my career, the family I built, and even the travel business I started because of my own love of our family vacations. Some of my favorite memories in the world are the ones my dad gave me, and one of the greatest gifts I have now is being able to pass those memories, traditions, and lessons along to my son, Parker.
I will always be proud to be his daughter.
Growing up, my dad taught me many valuable lessons that have stayed with me throughout my life. He taught me that every person matters, regardless of where they come from or their background; to treat others the way I would want to be treated; and, most importantly, to always help others whenever I could. These lessons continue to guide me to this day.
Some of my fondest memories with Dad were the times we spent giving back to our community. I cherished preparing meals together at the Ronald McDonald House, putting together holiday meals for those who were unable to leave their homes, and attending Rotary meetings with him. Through these experiences, Dad not only showed me the importance of helping others but also helped me understand the many ways we can make a difference in our community.
One of my most timeless memories with Dad is watching Jeopardy! together. When it came time for Final Jeopardy, Dad seemed to know the answer quite often. After I moved out on my own, I would call my parents after 7:30 p.m. and ask Dad, “Did you get the Final Jeopardy answer?” More often than not, his answer was, “Yes.” It became a wonderful little competition between us—one that brought us so much enjoyment.
I am grateful that this special tradition is one I can now share with my husband. It is just one of the many memories of Dad that I will carry with me always.
I learned throughout the years one thing that cannot be taken from you are the memories that you have of a person. All of the memories that I created with my Dad will live on forever.
