I will always remember the lovely lady that your mother was. One of my most favorite memories is the time that you and I were down the shore misbehaving and I got in trouble. Just like a mom, your mother came to my rescue. She was a beautiful women and I am happy that I had the opportunity to know.

Here’s a little information about my mom…. She was born and raised in Germany. She has 2 older sisters’ who are still living in Germany, and she has an older brother who passed way many many years ago. She met this young man by the name of William Dean Knott who was station in Germany with the United States Army. They got married and had us 3 “loving” children. {smile} Mom loved to cook, especially German cuisines, she loved to dance and sing to German music, even country music. It was a must that we took her to the Cannstatter Volksfest/Oktoberfest every year so she could feel like she was back home in Stuttgart, Germany. Listening to the German bands and watching the German dancer’s…..and of course drinking her favorite German beer and eating all the good German food while singing along and dancing to all her favorite songs. 12/10/43 - 12/15/14
