Thomas Trofe, on October 23, 2020, of Brigantine. Age 73. Beloved husband of Barbara Trofe (nee Robb). Loving father of Jennifer Trofe-Clark (Jason) and Michelle Trofe.

Tom was a kind and gentle man who earned a Masters degree in business and accounting. He was a corporate credit manager and later along with his wife Barbara, owned and operated a successful business, Bright Beginnings for 44 years. He loved a funny story, playing poker, eating at restaurants, traveling, watching the Eagles (win or lose!), and being at his shore house to walk on the beach. He enjoyed being with his wife and daughters most of all. He especially enjoyed traveling the world with them. He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures to the fullest.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday 9:00 – 10:00 am at St. Paul Church, 923 Christian Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147. Mass of Christian Burial 10:15 am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Washington Twp.

In lieu of flowers, donation in Tom’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” Etinne de Grelette Tom was a man of unquestioned character, more than most men could hope, a wonderful family man, and man of his word in a world where some fall short at times. The worst steady quarterback Amherst ct. ever knew, but the smile it brought to his face when us kids let him play, priceless ! I never forgot Tom, and I'm sorry I never bumped into you on the beaches of Brig, and made it right. We shared an island and I never new. Tom will be missed by many people. I will miss his happy smile, he was always a happy person whenever I saw him. My thoughts and prayers are for the family and friends.

Dear Barbara, Jennifer & Jason, and Michelle, We are tremendously sorry to hear of Tom's passing. We were so fortunate to get to know your family on our tour of Tuscany, and I fondly remember Tom's sense of humor and eye for adventure. Very sorry for your loss Barbara. You know I was very fond of Tom and enjoyed our conversations about Bella, traveling, politics and most importantly, eating. I will miss seeing him in the gym at Bella and the get together. He was a great guy, a great friend and a great family man. He will be missed by many. RIP my friend.
