Thomas R. McDermott

Thomas R. McDermott, 89, passed away on August 19, 2021. Born and raised in Wyoming, PA, he served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He then joined IBM for 39 years. He was the beloved spouse of Gloria for 58 years and the devoted father of Thomas, Tracey (Arturo Coffen), Tara and Tammy (David Moore). Sadly missed, Tom is also survived by eight grandchildren, his brother John (Cathy) and his beloved nieces and nephews. In his retirement he became an avid painter and gifted us with many cherished paintings.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Prayer service 12:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
