I was saddened to hear of Tom's passing. Ray always had nothing but fond remarks regarding his cousin, Tommy. The McCann farm always held happy memories of fun and joy with Tommy being in the center of all of them along with Aunt Jessie, Uncle Tom and Tom's brothers and sisters. Please know how very sad I am that he's no longer with us. Praying that the good Lord will help you hold on to all your happy memories.

To Diane and the entire McCann Family….. Losing Tom has had a tremendous impact on the family as well as his friends. We met Tom 20 years ago when he met my college girlfriend Diane who later became Mrs. McCann. Our memories of Tom are too many, however, I will mention a few. Our trips to the shore, Peddler’s Village, ( which by the way Diane purchased the cap in an Irish store as an early Christmas present that he is wearing on the photo of him in the obituary), frequent dinners, watching sporting events, weddings, graduations Birthday Parties, Bar-BQues,eating Tom’s home grown tomatoes and peppers, and spontaneous trips. Tom also was an icon with the “G” Girls and their spouses. Our group dinners always included Tom providing the entertainment. Tom had an arsenal of quotes, our favorite, “AN UNGUARDED MINUTE HAS AN ACCIDENT IN IT.” We felt we belonged to the McCann family as Tom spoke of his family every opportunity he had. His Love of family was unprecedented. We are very thankful we were able to spend time with Tom and Diane during his last weeks watching the Phillies Journey. Tom was called to his final resting place and Heaven will NEVER be the same. REST IN PEACE DEAR FRIEND, you lived a GOOD LIFE!

My sincere condolences on your loss. I worked with Tom for many years in Bloomsburg and he could always make me smile with his funny sayings. He had a great sense of humor, was dedicated to his job, loved his family and really knew how to enjoy life! He will certainly be missed. I will keep him in my prayers.

Vicky and I are so very saddened to learn of Tom’s passing. Simply put, he was a genuinely warm, funny, and overall wonderful person. Quick with a joke, he had that rare gift of making you feel important and valued whenever you encountered him, whether it be at a social event or in the parking lot of Pitman golf course. All of his classmates and friends he grew up with have nothing but good things to say about Tom. While we will all miss him, we are grateful to have known him, even if only for a bit. Our thoughts and prayers are with Diane and the entire family. Bob & Vicky Zazzali

My thoughts go out to Tom’s family during this difficult time. I worked with him for many years at the Bloomsburg facility and he was always so much fun. I will miss his texts showing me the fun vacations he got to take. I’m so glad he got to live a life of travel and good times. He was a man of great wisdom and advice and I will always cherish the life lessons he taught me.
