DI PASQUALE JR., THOMAS 57 — of Northfield, NJ, passed away on September 10, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, Tommy spent his formative years in the Wildwood area. He attended Middle Township High School and continued his education at West Liberty State College, where he received a degree in psychology. After working at the Playboy Casino, Bally’s, and Trump Marina, Tommy decided it was time for a career change. He then entered into the construction industry as a superintendent, specializing in restaurants, casino kitchens, resort hotels, and high-end retail malls.
“Goofy,” “gregarious,” and “genuine” only begin to describe Tommy’s colorful personality. With his insatiable appetite for life, he loved riding his motorcycle and once embarked on a cross-country road trip in 2009. His interests were many: fishing and playing basketball, retro design, drawing and painting, and home improvement. A music buff, Tommy’s tastes ranged from Frank Sinatra to 50 Cent. He was passionate about his Italian heritage and valued the traditions of curing olives, crafting wine, and cooking homemade gravy. He tirelessly concentrated his efforts on bettering himself as well as the lives of those he loved.
Tommy is survived by his father, Thomas Di Pasquale Sr.; his wife, Cindy Di Pasquale; his daughter Mia Di Pasquale; his stepson Mike Katz; his sisters Marisa Carchidi and Fran Durso; his brothers-in-law Joe Carchidi and Joe Durso; his nieces Angela and Theresa Monaghan; and his nephew Joseph Durso III. He is predeceased by his mother, Theresa Di Pasquale.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Monday 10:00 – 11:45 am at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish, St. Bernadette’s RC Church, 1421 New Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 pm. Interment private.
