I just looked up Dr. Morley to check on his well being again and found this belated sad news this AM. He was my pulmonologist and such a kind supportive person in my life who helped me quit smoking long ago and get healthier despite my existing pulmonary issues..I had been worried about his medical situation for quite some time but didn't know how to reach him. I'm so very sad to learn he has passed and very sorry for his wife and family. He was always a kind bright light in my life and the many lives he touched. Rest in peace and heaven's beauty, Dr Morley.

My sympathy to your family and friends. Your leadership of the UMDNJ- Respiratory Therapy as Medical Director was much appreciated by the faculty, students, and staff. You taught the students with your knowledge, kindness, and sense of humor. Thank you for your leadership and friendship.

I was very sorry to hear of Dr. Morley's passing. He was a mentor and teacher to me through my years as a medical student, resident, and pulmonary/critical care fellow. Dr. Morley was a consummate patient teacher. He possessed an extensive knowledge base that he readily shared with his students. His radiology slides and lectures were legendary in our program and all of his pulmonary/critical care fellows benefited immensely from his teaching. He spent untold hours perfecting his radiology slide deck. When I completed fellowship he generously gave me all of his teaching slides that I continue to use to this day. Over the years he was awarded many well deserved teaching awards. All those who learned under Dr. Morley were so impressed by these abilities. We also so much enjoyed his great sense of humor and legendary "one-liners". He will be missed by many. Rest in peace Dr. Morley.

Dorothy and family, I just heard tonight from a friend that Dr. Morley passed. My prayers for you and his family. I worked with him and my husband saw him as a patient. He was always very warm and friendly, I remember him teaching the medical students, very patient. You could always ask a question. I watched the video, what a tribute. Thomas lived a very filled life. He rests in the arms of our Lord and your heart.
