Theresa “Terry” M. Hatala
Theresa Marie Hatala, age 68, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, with her two sons by her side. She was born on August 23, 1957, and now reunites in eternal rest with her beloved husband, Rudolph N. Hatala. A devoted and loving mother, Theresa is survived by her two sons, Rudolph (Sarah) and Andrew (Melissa), who were the pride and joy of her life. She was a cherished grandmother to Jaxon, Dawson, Ayden, Colin, Wesley, and Grant, who filled her life with joy and laughter. Truly, she’s loved to the moon and back.
Theresa, the eldest daughter of James and Ethel Bergmark, is survived by her siblings Donna Rubio, Lynne Dever, and James Bergmark, as well as nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
Theresa lived her life with deep affection for the simple, beautiful things around her. She loved spending time with family, soaking in the sunshine at the beach, and finding joy in visits from dragonflies, believing they carried whispers of love from those who had gone before her. Theresa was a true sports mom, her place was in the stands, bundled up in every season, cheering loudly for her sons and grandsons. She never missed a chance to support them.
She will be remembered for her strength, her resilience, and the impact she had on the lives of those close to her. Theresa’s legacy lives on in the stories told and the memories treasured by those who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed, yet her memory will continue to live within those she leaves behind. And whenever a dragonfly appears, may it be a small sign that she is still near.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday 9:30-11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM. Interment, Manahath Cemetery Glassboro.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Terry’s memory may be made to The National Kidney Foundation
