They don't make 'em like this anymore. Memories of Uncle Ted include enjoying the Jersey Shore and playing horseshoes on the beach, the trailer in Woodbine, and picking loads of blueberries at the nearby farms every summer. He and Doris usually ate more berries while picking than they paid for to take home! A fun-loving fellow, genuine and sincere. A long life well lived.

Jane, Teddy, Carol & Brad, Sorry to hear of your father's passing. I have many fond memories. You guys always had the biggest Christmas trees! Also, smashing into the storm door on a sled? Does that ring a bell? I will miss your dad's laugh. I hope you're all well.

This is terrible terrible news. Ted was a remarkable human. Once, in 1971, Ted tried to talk some sense into me (I was 17 then) when I was making plans to drop out of Cheltenham High. He was more distraught about it than my parents (and they were pretty distraught). Late one night he came over to my parents' house and sat next to me on a sofa for an hour and tried and tried to convince me, gently, I was making a huge mistake. I knew he was wrong because I knew everything, and so I proceeded to quit high school. What a guy to care that much and to put himself out there for someone else's kid. He did it out of love. I can see him sitting there with me like it was yesterday. It took me a long time to realize who was wrong, and it wasn't Ted. Rest in peace, old friend.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal. From an Irish Headstone You are in my heart forever, Ted. Jane

Ted lived a very long and happy life. I was honored to have worked for him for 10 years. He was a great inspiration! He never looked or acted his age and always had a smile and positive word to say. He had an infectious laugh that I will never forget. He always wanted people to enjoy work and together we made some great work memories with our staff who, even after 20+ years we still stay connected. Working with Ted was one of my best career moves I ever made. Thank you . RIP Ted.

Yep, it’s true- dad LOVED Jersey corn, butter, green bananas, and homemade gingersnaps-even if he had to wack them with a butter knife :-) What a good sport. I miss you, dad.

Opa was a good man to me. He supported me through college and encouraged me throughout my professional career. The Wyncote house will forever be in my heart as my family home. I mowed that lawn more than once under his direct tutelage. See you on the other side. Love, Peanut.

Dad was an interesting guy. He loved the outdoors, mowing the grass, the flora and fauna of Wyncote outside of Philly, going to the vegetable market and fresh Jersey corn that he bought on the side of the road. He taught me how to change brakes, pack wheel bearings and change the oil. He was a good kind soul. Rest in Peace Father.
