Terry Milstead

December 30, 1950 - June 20, 2017

Terry F. Milstead of Huntingtown MD was born on December 30th 1950 and passed away in Washington Twp , in the company of his good friend Steve Pfersich. He was a beloved husband of the predeceased Kathleen M. Milstead. He is survived by two sons Jason Blush and Christopher Milstead. Terry also leaves behind his two grandchildren Jacob and Morgan and a sister Sandy Underwood.
Terry was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he earned several metals. After the war, he joined the Piledrivers Local 2311 of Washington DC. He rose through the ranks and retired head of the district counsel for the Mid-Atlantic region.
He married his late wife Kathleen on June 22, 1985. The love they shared was extraordinary. Terry loved working in his garden and had a passion for old cars. Terry had a heart of gold and will be missed by all whom had the pleasure to know him.

The family asks you join them to celebrate his life. Service will be held at the main beach in Cape St. Claire on July 7th at 6 pm. After the service is over, you are invited to join the family in the Cape St. Claire club house. 1223 River Bay Rd Annapolis MD 21409.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to SPCA or the Wounded War Veterans.

So sorry for your loss Terry and I grew up together in District Heights went to Francis Scott Key Jr. High and Suitland High School together we played on the District Heights Boys Club football team back in the day as they say. I have not seen him in many many years. I wish I had of attended at least one of the Suitland High School's Reunions and had a chance to see him. Our prayers are with you and your family. Terry Milstead and my friendship grew when I returned to DC in 1985 after traveling and living full time in an RV seeing the country. He tried to be as fair as he could be as business agent and was a good friend. My prayers are for comfort and peace for his family.

Grew up knowing Terry since I was 4 years old. He was a good friend to my brother Ricky. I remember going to his house many times to get my sister Angie. Terry's sister Sandy and my sister were best of friends. I'm sure there are many days they drove Terry crazy when they were younger. The world will be a little less bright without Terry in it.

I met terry in February 1964 , I was 11 terry 14 , we became friend right away and maintain that friendship since then...I lost a best friend in terry my heart is torn , I will miss him dearly...we shared many of good times which I will always treasure...I love terry like a brother...see you in heaven my friend... I new Terry to be a good guy. Back in 1980 Terry got me in the union local 1200 St. Augustine Fl. shortly thereafter I was on his pile driving crew in Jacksonville Fl.
