Susan A. Skidmore

(nee Kretz) On May 3, 2025, of Glassboro. Age 59. Beloved wife of Kevin. Devoted mother of Jason (Sarah) and Dylan Skidmore (Emily). Loving Gaga of Nico and Vincenzo. Loving daughter of Bernadette (nee Vanrell) and the late Raymond Kretz. Dear sister of Donna Regan (Patrick), Eric Kretz (Diane). And Raymond Kretz (Irene). Loved by many nephews.

Susan Skidmore passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones, after a courageous battle with early-onset Alzheimer’s. Though her journey was difficult, she faced it with quiet strength and the unwavering love of her family by her side.

Susan had a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys. She loved her trips to Brigantine Beach & Busch Gardens, always up for the excitement and adventure. Music meant the world to her—especially the sounds of Pink Floyd, which filled her home and her heart. She enjoyed a good glass of wine, but what she cherished most was time spent with her family—laughing, talking, and making memories that will last forever.

Susan’s warmth, humor, and love left a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed, but remembered with love in every shared story, every familiar song, and every moment of joy that she would’ve wanted us to hold onto.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday 9:00-11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Dear Kevin, Jason and Dylan and your loving wives, We are deeply sorry to hear of Susan’s passing. Susan, your Mom was a beautiful and fun person inside and out. She had a light that shined from within and her sparkle made everyone want to smile with her. She was so excited to share about Jason getting married and then the twins coming. How special and wonderful that she knows you are both loved by your wife’s and have a beautiful life and careers to take you forward. Kevin you have been an amazing and an incredible loving husband and we are so very sorry for the loss. We will be praying for all of you. Please know we send our love as a family. My beautiful little Sister Suzi Q, I am in denial that you have left us and gone to Heaven. I wish i was by your side when you passed, but i didn't know. I know you are with the Lord right now in eternal paradise. I am so so heartbroken, replaying all the memories we had over so many years. I remember the day you were born. I know we'll see each other again, when God decides to take me to heaven. Though your physical presence is gone, your spirit lives on in my heart. The memories we made together are a treasure, I'll always hold dear. I always say those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day in their spirit. My beautiful Sister with a beautiful soul, Rest peacefully in eternal Love.

My deepest condolences to the Skidmore family. Susan was always a very pleasant woman and a joy to work with at Bollinger. I was saddened to hear of her passing and my prayers are with all of you.

Kevin, and the entire Kretz and Skidmore family. My deepest condolences on the loss of Susan. Susan was a Nob Hill original, and I will always remember her as the sweet and older sister of my friend. The one who was always nice to me. My heart felt thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I worked with Susan for a number of years. She was the most genuine person I had the pleasure to know. Always smiling and her love of her family was very apparent. Please accept my condolences.

My prayers and condolences go out to the entire family. I am so sorry for this loss of such a beautiful young woman. Susan was one of the sweetest girls that I have ever met. I’m so glad that I got to see her several months ago while she was out shopping with Kevin. It was great that she remembered me, we had a nice conversation. I pray that Susan rest in peace.
