Stephen W. Szasz

Stephen Szasz, a beloved 79-year-old husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2023.  He left this world surrounded by the warmth of family and friends.

He had an extraordinary zest for life and an innate ability to bring joy to those around him and make them feel loved.  Steve’s presence was like a ray of sunshine, and his sense of humor and incredible talent for telling jokes would put a smile on anyone’s face.

Steve was devoted to his family and friends.   He cherished these relationships and created countless wonderful memories with his loved ones. His love, support, and guidance were a source of strength and inspiration for all fortunate enough to know him.

Steve’s legacy of kindness, generosity, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, his children, Fred Szasz, Stacey and Mike Reedy, and Brian and Melissa Szasz and his grandchildren, Lauren Szasz, Jessica Szasz, Joshua Szasz, Rachel Reedy, Nicole Reedy, and Jacob Szasz.

Stephen’s life will be celebrated on Wednesday, 9:00-9:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp.  Funeral service 9:30 AM.  Interment, New Montefiore Cemetery, Long Island.

Steve may no longer be with us in person, but his spirit and love will forever remain in our hearts, a reminder of the beauty and goodness that he brought to this world. Rest in eternal peace, dear Steve. You will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
