To Judy, Lisa, Jill and Bobby and all of your families, We grieve along with you all. Aunt Shirley was the most beautiful, positive and loving person that anyone would want to know. We are blessed that she was our Aunt. My Mom and Dad loved both her and Uncle Bob and we do, too. May Aunt Shirley rest in her new beautiful eternal life where she is now happily face to face with our loving Savior, Jesus Christ. Right next to her wonderful husband and with my mom and dad smiling upon them. Love you all, Chris and Mike Maccarone

Trisha Carvelli-Howell left a message on January 15, 2026:
Not everyone is lucky enough to have an Aunt who steps in--when it seems that the world has stepped out. Aunt Shirley was there for me, and texted me--at least once every day for months when I needed someone to lean on. I will never forget her quiet strength and warm acceptance. She seemed to have this intuition--and knew when you needed to talk, when you needed a smile, or when you just needed to know that your life mattered. How blessed I am to have been on this earth --while she was in it. My mom used to always say that Aunt Shirley always remembered those things that were important to you. Whether it was with a phone call, or a St. Patrick's Day card--she always remembered the little things. Judy, Jill, Bob, and Lisa--she left you quite a legacy: of quiet strength, warmth, laughter, and love.

I love you mommy, the Snow White to my Evil Queen. Thank you for all the great times and our shared adventures. From our helicopter and rafting trip in Alaska to being scared of dolphins we thought were sharks in Hawaii to drinking vodka in Russia to riding Slinky Dog in Disney to our many days and nights just sitting on the couch watching our favorite shows. You were the best and I am going to miss you more than words can say.
