Sheila R . Glaser, of Glassboro, formerly of Parsippany, passed on May 9, 2017 at the MD Anderson Center at Cooper . She was 75.
Born in Morristown, NJ in 1941, Sheila spent most of her life in Parsippany, raising her two children and staying active with community groups like Parents Without Partners, and her Morristown High School Class of ’59 Reunion Committee. Sheila was known for her generosity and caring towards others and was an adopted “Mom” to too many people to count, creating a rich and vibrant extended family. During her retirement in Glassboro, Shelia loved her trips to the casino, Charlie Brown’s, and family vacations in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Sheila was a devoted mother of Greg Glaser (Leah Shafer Glaser) and Julie Howery (Vern), and she cherished her time with her grandchildren Angela, Dana, and Brooks. She is also survived by her dear sister Vivian Snyder (Bob) and sister-in-law, Ann Dennett.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday 2:00 – 3:30 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Life Celebration will begin at 3:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sheila’s memory may be made to Gloucester County Hero Scholarship Fund (www.gchero.org) or the charity of donor’s choice.
