Salvatore N. Iuvara

September 22, 1955 - August 31, 2026

Salvatore N. Iuvara, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, in Cherry Hill, at the age of 70.

Salvatore was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Barbara, and his loving parents, John and Antoinette. He leaves behind his dear sisters, Genevieve (Jeannie) Trombetta, who was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, and Mary Meloni and her husband Albert. He was a loving uncle to Stephen Downs. Salvatore is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. He is survived by his loving dog Winston.

His life will be honored and remembered privately by his family. Though he is no longer with us, Salvatore’s memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

So sorry to hear about my cousins Sals passing. We had great times growing up. Many holidays filled with laughter and lots of good Italian food. Rest easy cuz. Your with your love Barbra ❤️ now.

I am so sorry to hear about Sal! I had the pleasure of being Sal’s infusion nurse for the last few years! We had so much fun and so many laughs, even when he wasn’t feeling well! Mary and Stephen, he talked about you both all of the time! Please give Winston a big hug because he was his baby!! I’m truly going to miss Sal!

I am so sorry to hear Sal passed away. I have so many good memories with Sal when we were growing up. Most recently I spent some time talking to him on the phone. We planned to get together for lunch at Kaminski’s . I’m sorry it was never to be. Rest in peace my friend. Together again w Barbara. 😢💔🙏

Sal.... Back in the day we called you South Philly Sal. You drove me home from school in your dad's caddy. We spent many date nights (me and Rick) (Tony and Betty Ann) and you and Julie at your house listening to Elvis. Great times that I will always remember. My thoughts and prayers for your family.
