Ruth Milstead (nee Simon), on May 14, 2013, of National Park. Age 79. Beloved wife of the late Marvin Milstead, Sr. Devoted mother of Cheryl Egizi (Mark), Carole Patton (Bill), Annarae Hatchell, Kathy Swain (Dan), Lisa Peacock (Marty), and Marvin Milstead Jr. (Holly) and her step-daughters Carol Velykis and Marily Haines. Loving grandmother of Danyel, Billy, Dezirae, Lena Ann, Stephanie, Daniel, Ruthann, Allison, Isaac, Ashley, Hailey, Marlissa and Hanna. Proud great-grandmother of 16. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, sisters, brothers and former husband and forever friend Raeford (Rebel) Hatchell and many loving nieces and nephews.

Ruth was born, raised and lived in National Park most of her life with an exception of a few years in North Carolina. She attended National Park Elementary School and graduated from Woodbury High. She was a member of National Park First United Methodist Church where her love for the Lord grew stronger. She was a very loving and devoted mother to her six children. She like doing crafts, finding great deals at Saturday morning yard sales and most of all, gardening and taking care of her yard…She could make anything grow!

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 9:00 – 11:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Celebration of Life 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford, NJ.
