Rosetta Elisa Tenuto
(nee Bosio) On February 10, 2025, of Washington Twp. Age 90. Beloved wife of the late Alfred F. Devoted mother of Pamela Draper (Matthew) and Alfred Tenuto, Jr. Loving grandmother of Matthew, Victoria, Luca and Phoebe. Dear sister of John Bosio (Maryann) and the late Francis and Emanuel Bosio. Rosetta is also survived by Helene Bosio and Wynette Tenuto.
Rosetta was the heart of her family, embodying strength, warmth, and tradition. She grew up in South Philadelphia and from an early age, understood the value of work and dedication. Though she never sought recognition, she always put her family first in everything she did. She was a fantastic cook, and her meals were more than just food—they were an expression of love. She embraced family traditions, especially Christmas Eve, when she brought everyone together for a night filled with laughter, storytelling, and, of course, incredible food. The Feast of Seven Fishes was something she cherished and prepared for with care every year. Rosetta’s faith was strong but never overwhelming. She quietly lived by the values she believed in, always leading by example. She was devoted to her loving husband, Alfred, staying committed to him through many years and supporting him in the many jobs he took on to provide for their family. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday 9:30 – 10:30 am at the Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:45 am. Entombment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosetta’ memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
