Rosemary E. Masso
(nee Epp) On January 12, 2024, of Deptford, formerly of Washington Twp. Age 77. Beloved wife of the late Anthony. Devoted mother of Jacqueline Biddle (Raymond), Andrew Masso (Joseph), and Darryl Masso. Loving grandmother of Amber, Kirsten, Zachary, Stephanie, and Jacob. Dear sister of Harry Epp, and the late William, Thomas, and Marguerite. Loved by nieces and nephews.
Rosemary Masso-nee Epp, was born 2/17/1946 in Hammonton, NJ. She attended Little Flower School until 8th grade and then moved to Stratford, NJ where she attended and graduated from Sterling High School in Somerdale, NJ.
She married Anthony Masso July 18, 1964 and had four children, Jacqueline, Matthew (still born), Andrew, and Darryl.
The family moved to Whitman Square in Washington Twp in 1974 where she remained until 2019 when she sold the house and moved in with her son Andrew and his husband, Joseph Murray.
She had a career as a secretary at Rapheal, Scala, Fell Associates, and attended Stage Coach Road Fellowship Church, formerly First Baptist Church of Turnersville until she moved and has been attending Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Oaklyn, New Jersey.
She loved her church life and was a leader in the SPARKS program for many years as well as serving as a deaconess. She collected owls and was a wizard at both Scrabble and Gin Rummy. She loved puzzling with her Emmanuel puzzle group.
After her husband Anthony passed in 1999, she found a new love for travel and took trips to the Black Forest Academy in Germany, London, Walt Disney World, British Columbia and Maine, with her 2nd husband Jim Meehan who passed in 2019.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday 7:00-9:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. and Thursday 10:00-11:00 AM at Stagecoach Road Christian Fellowship Church, 139 Stagecoach Road, Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:15 AM. Interment, Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro.
