Rosemarie Candia

(nee Sorrentino) On May 17, 2026, of Northfield. Age 89. Beloved wife of the late James. Devoted mother of James Candia III (Holly), Phyllis Candia (Mike), and Maria Blake (Stephen). Loving grandmother of James, Kimberly (Drew), Jimmy, Michael, Nicholas (Laura), Stephen, Samantha, Sabrina, and the late Tyler. Proud great-grandmother of Riley, Ashton, Wes, Ben, Zac, and Charlotte. Dear sister of the late Frank Sorrentino (Maria). Loved by nieces and nephews.

When she was younger, Rosemarie, along with her husband Jim, enjoyed going to the beach, dining out, going to the casinos, taking cruises and spending time with family. She loved reading, gardening and crocheting and, later in life, quickly adapted to the digital age, enjoying her computer and playing games on her tablet as well as online shopping.

She loved making Christmas cookies and trying a different recipe each year all while watching the Hallmark channel because who doesn’t love a happily ever after?

As she got older and moving around on her own was no longer an option, she enjoyed being taken for walks and picnics under the tree and especially her frozen caramel macchiatos with whipped cream treats.

Family and friends are welcome to attend her viewing Tuesday, May 26^th, 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM. Interment Gloucester County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosemarie’s memory may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.
