Ronald C. Bowman, on July 12, 2023, of Gloucester Twp. Age 74. Beloved husband of Claire Bowman (nee Johnson). Loving father of Ronald C. Bowman and Kasmon Bowman and his wife, Jackie. Dear brother of Gloria Spaulding, Gwayland McCleney (Vanessa) and Lionel McCleney (Mae). Caring uncle, cousin and friend to anyone he crossed paths with – he never met a stranger! Ronald was proud of being a member of Omega Psi Phi at NC State University and was even more proud to have served in the US Marine Corps, where he would be honorably discharged as a veteran of the Vietnam War. His love for the Marines did not stop after being discharged, he later aligned himself with his brothers as a member of the Montford Point Marine Association (Chapter 1 in Philadelphia) where he created lifelong bonds and friendships. Being a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church not only provided Ronald the space to show his dedication to his faith but also fostered relationships built on service, dedication, love, laughter, and support. Although Ronald will be sorely missed, his family and friends will continue his humble legacy.

Family and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday July 20th, 9:00 – 10:00 am at St. Matthews Baptist Church, 245 Glassboro Rd. (Rt. 322), Williamstown, NJ. Funeral service 10:00 am. Interment will take place Friday July 21st, 10:30 am at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
