Robyn P. Pickard (nee Palermo) on August 7, 2013, of Blackwood. Age 44. Beloved wife of Mark. Devoted mother of Tyler, Douglas and Dayle Pickard. Loving daughter of Maryann Davis. Dear sister of Stacey, Robert, Jude, Gabe Palermo and Holly Marisco.
Robyn will be known as a mother first and foremost but this was not to be surpassed by her love she had for her husband. There was not a thing that she would not do for her family. No mountain to large to move and no valley to wide to cross and she would do it without a second thought. She was their biggest cheerleader both on an off the field. She knew what to say, how to say it, and could brighten up your day within moments of a conversation. Robyn was a fighter as she fought long and hard with her illness, but she should not be remembered for her battle but for how she made it seem as if she was never in one.
Spirited, tenacious, resilient, and a little bit rambunctious sum Robyn up in a nutshell, but you’d be sorry to forget her loving attitude and the passion in which she carried out everything she did. Her flowers grew fuller, her meals were delightful and her hugs made it so you never wanted to let go. Her smile could light up a room while her laugh would brighten anyone’s day. She has touched many people and will continue to do so and her children live on through her, and her husband continues to watch over them as she did. She passed on to a better place, but her legacy will live on forever.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Sunday 6:30 – 9:00 pm and Monday 9:00 – 10:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes Church, Blackwood. Iterment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Robyn’s memory may be made to Rose’s Fund for Animals, P.O. Box 24, Avon by the Sea, NJ 07717 or by visiting www.rosesfund.org. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com.
