On August 13, 2026, of Franklinville. Age 73. Beloved husband of Marie (nee Mackay). Devoted father of Marie Owens (Richard), Robert Stiteler Jr. (Lauren), Joseph Stiteler (Lisa), and Michael Stiteler (Danielle). Loving grandfather of Joshua (Amy), Jessica, Robert III, Zoe, Chase, Lilyana, Bryce, Alaina, Brooklynn, Michaela, Chris (Barb), Sam, and Nate. Proud great-grandfather of Carmella, J.J., Jax, Bentley, Carson, and Kendall. Dear brother of James Stiteler (Kathy), William Stiteler (Colleen), and the late Marge Tulini, Joan Collum, Gary Stiteler, Frank Stiteler, John Stiteler, Thomas Stiteler, and Dorothy Stiteler. Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Born in Camden at Cooper Hospital and raised in Deptford NJ. He went by Bob. Friends and co workers would call him “COOT”. He worked for RE Pierson Construction Company and Gus Bittner driving trucks for many years.
Those who knew Bob well will fondly remember his unique and endearing habits. When he wasn’t driving his truck, he found peace and happiness closer to home, whether he was out riding on his tractor or spending hours tinkering in the garage.
He was a man of specific tastes—he famously only drank Pepsi, and he looked forward to his regular trips to Walmart, specifically to pick up his favorite chocolate frosted doughnuts and pumpkin pie. Above all, he cherished the quiet moments spent with his grandchildren, especially when he was sharing his stashes of pretzels and M&Ms with them.
Family and friends are welcome to attend his viewing Tuesday, August 18th 7:00 – 9:00 PM & Wednesday, August 19th 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM. Interment Gloucester County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
