Robert E. Vanaman, III
On February 7, 2021 of Sicklerville. Age 47. Beloved husband of 22 years to Laurie (nee Friend) the love of his life and best friend. Devoted father of Michael and Matthew. Loving son of Robert E. Jr. and Paula (nee Kagamakos) Vanaman. Bob is also survived by his mother-in-law, Marlene Friend (nee Gollotto), his brother-in-law Eric Friend, and his nephew Jacob.
Bob was a 17 year employee of Northeast Mechanical and a proud longtime member of Local 322. He enjoyed snowboarding, surfing, and watching his sons play college and high school lacrosse. But what Bob enjoyed most in life was his family. He was married to Laurie, the love of his life, for 22 years and raised Mikey and Matt as true gentlemen and accomplished lacrosse players. Bob had a passion for music. He also loved to be at the shore riding waves. His dedication to his sons’ lacrosse careers was much admired not only by friends and family, but also by all who witnessed his constant presence on the sidelines. He was known for his quick dry wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Friday 9:00-11:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. The funeral service will be private for family but will be Live streamed for all friends of the Vanaman’s to view at 11:30 AM.
