I have many happy thoughts of Bob but the particular word that comes to mind when I think of our Uncle Bob at FedEx Ground would be dependability. I had the pleasure of working with Bob for two years as his Sort Manager and always looked forward to his smiling face and strong work ethic. I periodically would bring Bob up to the front in our weekly Package Handler Meeting as a shining example of the 'old school' hard working man. He would ride his bicycle to work 3rd shift from Pitman through various types of weather from 90 degree heat to sub-freezing temperature and snow covered roads to ensure that he was not just on time, but rather 15 minutes early. The applause from the other 90 Package Handlers would ring throughout the warehouse and Bob's smile would was evidence of his pride. They don't make them like Bob any more. It was an honor and privledge to know Bob. He is missed. Rest in peace Uncle Bob.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Bob was one of the most hard working individuals that I have encountered. He worked tirelessly without a single complaint. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with Bob and wish that I could of thanked him one last time for his service to our country. Bo will truly be missed.

Bob, or Uncle Bob as we all knew him was a phenominal worker and an overall extraordinary person. He worked as one of my direct reports for approxmiately one year. One thing that really stood out about him was his unparalleled dedication to everything he did. He was appreciated here very much, and he will be missed by all that worked side-by-side with him.

Thoughts from Mom and Dad Over the past week we have reflected a lot on our oldest child. Bobby was our first born--the joy and excitement of being parents was present in his always smiling face. The fondest memories of play with him in our mobile home--hide and seek, jumping over the couch, cavorting in the winter snow or summer sun. Always a happy child with curiosity as a companion. These attributes he carried into adulthood particularly the good humor and spirit. As an adult he became a quiet private person with always a sense of responsibility,a need to work hard, and loyalty to his family and employers. Bob loved the Army life with it's travel, companionship, and sense of pride. He loved sports--college football, basketball, and golf. He also loved Dunkin Donuts. His favorite times were the Easter and Christmas Holidays as well as his birthday. Mom will miss his Sunday calls always with the greeting "Hello Ma". Rest in peace son you will be remembered and missed.

Dear Bobby, As your father's youngest sister, I was a teenager when you were born when your Mom & Dad were living at and attending U Mass Amherst. Your Mom was always this tiny little lady and I can still picture her holding you, this big handsome baby boy. My love and prayers are with your family. Your new life has now begun with God....Love Aunt Rosemary
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Our family shared many happy times together albeit 40 years ago, I have fond memories of the Trider children, Bob, Linda, Mike, Jill and Geraldine playing at picnics and having a blast at that Mt. Horeb swimming pool near Madison, WI. I feel that Bob is truly in a place of peace right now. Your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers at this time. Love, Judy Ellis Fitzgerald

Bob, Our family of seven is now just six. I will miss you. The meomory I would like to share is when I helped Bob move into his apartment. I do not know how we got those large, round, green chairs up that staircase? The whole time you were calm, patient and obviously strong because I do not think I was much help. You made it happen. Peace be with you. Love your youngest sister, Geraldine

Jane and I want to express our sincere condolences on the loss of your oldest son, Bobby, as well as to Linda, Jill and Geraldine on the loss of their brother. Although we had not been in contact with Bobby for quite awhile, we have fond memories of him as a kid. Jane remembers him as a big good natured kid and alwayys with a big smile. I remember that as well as his big appetite. My boys had challenged him to put away three sub sandwiches--he did!! What a great kid. Lovingly remembered by his Aunt Jane and Uncle Jim Trider
