Our thoughts and prayers are with The Murphy Family during this very sad time. It was obvious to us during the hours we shared with Bob and Patsy last summer that Bob was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. We are grateful that we have our own special memories of Bob Murphy.
May God bless you all and give you peace knowing that your loved one is now in the loving arms of Jesus!

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad.
Kale informed me last week of his illness and your family has been in our thoughts and prayers since. I will pass along this information to the rest of the Walshes who will certainly be sad to learn of your father's passing. We all have very fond memories of him.
We will keep all of you in our prayers and hope that the gathering of family and friends will help to ease your pain. Please give our deepest regards to your family.

Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Bob and I shared professional paths between 1978 and 1985. I was a very young architect who worked with Bob primarily on Community College of Philadelphia. Bob demonstrated the relationship architects and engineers should have and I have tried to follow that example in my career. He treated me as a partner on the project and encouraged me to explore new ideas and actively participate. He gave me his "old" ASHRAE Handbook (1967) and told me to get good use out of it. It is on my book case in my office and I pull it out periodically. Bob set a professional standard I hope I can live up to. I know he did.

Dear Maureen and the Murphy Family,
I was so sorry to hear about your dad. I'm Marie Murphy married to your dad's cousin Tom who passed away 4 years ago. Your dad was very kind to our family and he came to Tom's viewing.
That was the last time I saw him. Please pass my sympathy on to your dear mom. I know she'll remember me.
Sincerely,
Marie Murphy
Pat, Maureen, John And Daniel, we are sorry to hear of Bob's passing. May all your happy memories see you through this difficult time. You are in our prayers.
Patsy,Maureen, Danny & John, It sure is sad to loose Bob but we must take heart knowing he is now at peace, in God's embrace. He is such a good husband, father, grandfather, engineer, project manager, neighbor, friend, dancer etc. He is proud of his children and grandchildren. He is very loving and faithful to Patsy. I was with him at a bar when a woman named Rambo tried to seduce him but he brushed her off, saying he is happily married. He proved his worth at Kling Lindquist managing the design and construction inspection of numerous projects such as: Xerox Corporation International Center in Leesburg Virginia; Community College of Philadelphia; International Monetary Fund Headquarters at Washington D.C.; Exxon Communications & Computer Science Division in Florham Park, NJ; PSFS in Philadelphia; Merrill Lynch Technology Center in Somerset NJ and others. Architect Vincent Kling like to use him also as trouble shooter because Bob has extensive practical experience in HVAC and electrical. He is a true friend. He helped me find my house a block away from his. He replaced my house circuit breaker box. Him and Danny, before Danny became Deptford Chief of Police replaced my air conditioning unit. He took me with him at boating/fishing trips. We are going to miss him. We will always have fond memories of his goodness, his warm smile, his cowboy hat & boots!

Sorry to hear of Bob's passing, being the youngest of the William & Mary Murphy grandchildren I always looked up to my older cousins, we had some wonderful stories from Wildwood which Bob shared with us in his writings and it took me back to another time and I was very gratefull to Bob for doing that. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time.
