Robert A Holzhauer, age 78 passed away on Saturday, Sept 16 2017 at Vitas Hospice Stratford NJ surrounded by family. He was a graduate of Vineland High School. On May 2, 1959, he married Dorothea Holloway and had two daughters Cheryl and Donna and 5 grandchildren Joshua, Sean, David, Benjamin and Daniel. He was a member of the United States Coast Guard for twenty plus years and achieved the rank of Chief Petty Officer at the Atlantic City Base. He was retired from Bell Atlantic as an engineer and drove a bus for Washington Twp. School District until retiring permanently. He loved to hunt and was a member of the Birch Hill Hunting Club. Bob was involved with and served as youth leader for several different churches in the area.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Friday 9:00 – 10:00 am at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 149 Ganttown Rd., Turnersville, NJ 08012. Funeral Service 10:00 am. Committal Service with Military Honors at Gloucester County Memorial Cemetery Columbarium.
