Rita T. Petrizio
(nee Frobas) On May 6, 2024, of Deptford Twp. Age 90. Beloved wife of the late Anthony. Devoted mother of Joseph (the late Joanne), Stephen (Mary), Susan (Stephen), Victor (Donna), and Christopher (Kimberly). Loving grandmother of Amanda, Stephen, Jr., Kevin, Joei, James, Catherine, Victor, Jr., and Justin. Proud great-grandmother of Eden, Alex, Andrew, Christian, Jace, Clayton, Leah, Vivian, Victor, III, and Wesley. Dear sister of Leonard Frobas (Eileen), and the late Father Victor Frobas.
Rita Petrizio was a purveyor of so many things. Above all she loved her family and friends who were a huge part of her life. She was also a big part of her church community. Some of her favorite pastimes include traveling with friends and family, quilting and eating her favorite foods, white pizza, and Chinese steamed dumplings. She also loved the holidays, especially Christmas time where she got to have her family together, making Pitzelles and pumpkin bread as well as many other tasty treats. She also spent lot of time with multiple groups. She was a part of including the Red Hat Society and her old work friends that they called the Golden girls. At her core, was an added shopper. She loves to go to some of her favorite stores, and even if she didn’t buy a thing, she loved the interactions with everyone she came in contact with. Rita had a lot of hobbies and loves in her life and one of them help to paint the picture of her life, and it was a life of love, caring, and happiness.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 9:30 – 11:15 am at the Church of The Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 am. Entombment All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
In honor of Rita’s life, in lieu of flowers or other acts of sympathy we would encourage any donations to Samaritan Hospice.
