Rita N. Sabatini (nee Ceccola), on October 11, 2015, of Cherry Hill. Age 87. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Sabatini. Devoted mother of Kathleen A. Giliotti, Patricia Sanders, Teresa Hart and Geri Koss. Loving grandmother of Julie, Billy, Lisa, Michael, Eddie, Tracy, Laura, Joseph and Michelle. Proud great-grandmother of Brandi, Alex, Nathan, Keira, Kaylee, Giuliana and Ethan. Dear sister of Philip and Vincent.
Nothing brought a brighter smile to Mom’s face more than spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Whether it was at our special Christmas get-together at Julie and Jim’s every year or just a quick visit in her room at the Manor, she really enjoyed those special moments. Whether the visits were separately or when we would barrage her with a big group visit, she still couldn’t contain that smile. She especially loved when the kids brought handmade cards and artwork or when they performed impromptu music and dance concerts in the Wicker Room at St. Mary’s.
She really seemed to love her life at the Manor. Her days were filled with Spirituality, in the daily Masses, Rosaries, Special Novenas, Benedictions, and special prayer services, all which she dearly loved. She also loved the beautiful campus around St. Mary’s. Even though her walks have gotten shorter recently, she still enjoyed being outside on nice days and taking in all the peace and beauty. She enjoyed watching Mummers TV and an occasional old movie, and for exercise she always looked forward to weekly Yoga at the Manor as well. I believe she had a really good life here at St. Mary’s, one filled with peace.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 9:45 – 10:45 AM at the Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
