To Kathy, Patty, Terry, and Geri: I was saddened to learn of the passing of your mom. I will always cherish my childhood memories of going to see Aunt Rita, Uncle Eddie, and you all in your home in Upper Darby and playing your piano. I also remember the many family occasions we shared together at the many weddings, birthdays, and anniversary celebrations. I last saw Aunt Rita at Uncle Joe's funeral and luncheon in Philadelphia, and I remember saying to Aunt Rita how wonderful she always was to me, my brother Mark and sister Beth growing up. Her brother Vincent Ceccola (my father) and my mother Marge, along with my entire family, send our heartfelt condolences.

Mom Mom like her patron saint, St Rita of Cascia, was a woman of humility, kindness, & patience. I am so sad to lose my very special grandmother. I am thankful for the time I had with her & the many memories of her that make me smile. I find comfort in knowing that she is in peace & with Pop Pop again. I miss you Mom Mom.

I am so blessed to have had the time and the memories I do with Mom Mom. She was a woman of unwavering faith, with an undeniable spark which I will dearly miss. She and Pop were dubbed my "funny grandparents" by my first grade teacher after coming to a Grandparents luncheon--and they were just that. Full of love, laughter, and so much personality. Being able to spend Christmas with her was something I looked forward to every single year as I would TEAR UP all the cookies she made. Once I got a little older I would try and help in the kitchen, until I got "fired" ...because I really wasn't much help at all. This past year I did an internship program that allowed me to live very close to Mom Mom and I would try and get lunch with her once a week. These lunches, trips to Trader Joe's, every little thing---meant so much to me, more than she ever could have known. Mom Mom always knew exactly what I was up to, and was so invested in and proud of any successes I had. I am so much like her, even down to how much we both love getting dressed up or watching Law and Order. I will miss everything about her; her laugh, her pink hat, even how lightning-fast she'd walk when she was ready to GO. She was an amazing person and I will continue to cherish every single memory I have of her. Love you Mom Mom.
