Richard Masciulli
On December 13, 2025, of Washington Twp. Age 79. Devoted father of Joelle Bard (Scott) and Jennica Bileci (Michael). Loving grandfather of Ellianna, Roman, and Cassandra. Rich is also survived by Denise and Jeff Kowalski, and Anthony and Tina Leonardo and their families.
Richard will be remembered as a devoted father, husband, and grandfather whose life was defined by deep love, strong values, and an unmistakable presence. Above all else, he was a dedicated father and proud father of his two daughters, Joelle and Jennica. Rich enjoyed coaching his girls in sports, especially his daughter Joelle, throughout her years playing softball. Those seasons on the field were some of his happiest, as he poured his time, energy, and encouragement into teaching discipline, confidence, and perseverance—lessons that extended far beyond the game.
Richard spent his professional life self-employed as a real estate broker, a role that suited his independence and determination. He was known for his wisdom and often shared his favorite saying with his girls: “Every pot has a lid,” a reflection of his belief in patience, faith, and finding one’s place in life.
A proud grandfather Richard found great joy in his grandchildren, Ellianna, Roman, and Cassandra. He cherished his role as their Pop and spoke of them with pride and affection. To many extended family members and friends, he was lovingly known as “Uncle Richie,” a name that reflected his larger-than-life personality and the lasting impression he left on those around him.
Richard shared an inseparable bond with his late wife, JoAnna. He truly could not function without her and was well known for calling out her name whenever he needed anything; moments that will forever be remembered with affection and a smile. As a strong-minded, old-school Italian husband and father, Richard believed deeply in respect, loyalty, and family values, and he never hesitated to voice those principles.
He also found peace and happiness at the beach in Wildwood Crest, where he loved to sit, relax, and enjoy the shore. Rich and JoAnna’s shore house was always open, welcoming family and friends, and it became a place of connection, laughter, and lasting memories.
Richard’s legacy will be remembered through the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the enduring memories he leaves behind in the hearts of those who knew him.
Richard’s life will be honored and remembered privately by his family.
