Lit a candle in memory of Richard A. Lewis
I am very sorry for your loss. It was a true pleasure to work with Rick at the FAA. He was rarely seen without a smile on his face and was genuinely nice to everyone.
My deepest condolences for your loss. I worked with Rick and have known him for many years. He was really a good guy, always kind and decent. I know that he was highly respected and will be missed dearly.
Rick was truly one of the good guys. May you find comfort in the fact that he touched so many lives with his positive outlook and good humor.
He will be missed greatly.
To the family: I am so sorry for the loss of Rick. When I became a supervisor in the System Requirements group, Rick was the FAA manager and from that time on, he was truly a great man to encounter. Always had a smile on his face and such a joy to be around. He will be missed tremendously. My prayers are with you and family. God bless.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
So sorry for your loss. I worked with and for Rick over the years in Oceanic and remember him as such a good guy - easy-going and a pleasure to know and work with. He will be terribly missed. My prayers are with all his loved ones.
Rick was my cousin, though I had not seen him for quite a few years. What was impressed on me was his mild manner and his careful and thoughtful disposition.I remember him in his straw hat pouring thoughtfully over town planning in my grandparents small town of Angelica, New York with my grandfather. It is no surprise that he became an engineer. He was always this careful, thoughtful older cousin that I had a difficult time trying to think of as Rick and not Ricky when he became an adult. He will always be Ricky to me.With prayers to the Lewis's, Sarah Stone
My deepest sympathy goes out to Rick's family and loved ones. It has been an honor and a pleasure to have known and worked with Rick for many years. He will be greatly missed.

I met Rick when I was 13. He always had a smile and worked hard at everything and encouraged me to do the same. He made a difference in my life, everybody he met and in everything he did. My thoughts and prayers to all of his family and friends.

May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face

And until we meet again

Rick & I had known one another for over 2 decades, but recently began working very closely together over the last few years. Rick was one of the most kind, gentle, conflict averse people I have ever met - I doubt he had a mean bone in his body. He respected his peers and always had a quirky, somewhat goofy upbeat outlook on things. His shy, sweet, and thoughtful demeanor will be VERY missed by all. Rick loved his family very much, and it was apparent they were his world by how he spoke of them - he was very proud. My deepest sympathy to Cindy, their children, and his entire family/friends.
Cynthia, Patrick, Michael and I can't leave out Athena...I know that your husband and dad, was well loved and respected. He had great character and a big heart!
My heart goes out to you...Sincerely Kathy Mann
Though I haven't seen my cousin Rick since he was about 12 years old, I was so saddened to hear of his untimely passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, his family and friends, who are gathered today in love, grief, and remembrance of him.
My favorite memory of my cousin Rick was of him doing his awesome and hilarious impression of the cartoon character Snagglepuss.
Rick with his quiet, gentle energy rarely drew attention to himself when we cousins got together, usually at Grandma and Grandpa Stone's house. However, on one such occasion, one of my cousins, maybe Michelle or Stephen, said that we ought to hear Rick do Snagglepuss, that he did a great impression. We said, "Yeah, do it Rick, do it!" So, with a fairly unsuccessful attempt at controlling his mirth and with his bit of a lisp, Rick said, "Snagglepuss....exit stage left, or stage right even" and had us all laughing out loud, begging him to do it again. That poor cat was totally upstaged by my cousin who did a better Snagglepuss than Snagglepuss himself. The best part of it was seeing Rick's total delight in cracking us all up. And that is how I will remember him best.
With love,
Evelyn Stone
Rick was a great person to work with, my prayers go out the family
So sorry for your loss! God Bless you and your family!
I have had the privilege to work with Rick in the past when he was on the ATOP program. He was a dedicated hard worker who always saw the bright side of things and wanted to work any issues as a TEAM! I also had the privilege spend time outside of work at various functions when you could see that he was a true family man. We always talked about our families and I could see how important family was to him. I know he touched anyone he met in a special way as he did that with me. I will always remember Rick as a kind, gentle, and truly caring person inside and out. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Lewis Family. I'm sorely heartbroken over his passing and I will always remember him with a smile.
Sincerely,
Chris DeFazio
My wonderful son is gone almost a year. My heart continues to break. There is no greater loss than the loss of a child, no matter the age. We give our children life, teach them values; they are our legacy. As a parent, we are not suppose to out live our children. We all continue to grieve this beautiful life cut short too soon.
Love my beautiful first born child,
Mom
Cyndi and family, I'm so sorry for your loss, my deepest sympathies.

My condolences to your family and all of Rick's friends. Rick was my manager for many years, but more than that Rick was truly a friend. He was there for me when I lost my Father and made sure I had nothing to worry about at work during that time. He was someone who would always lend an ear and have a pleasant conversation. The void that is felt for me will be filled with memories of his kindness, caring and patience, all things that I hope I can carry on in my daily life in remembrance.
