On January 20, 2024, Reginal Watson of North Philadelphia. Age 84. The father of Christina Watson and Dimitrece Watson passed away. Reginald’s life will be honored and remembered privately by his family. Reginald Watson was a man most would call an inspiration. He has fought through many life ending medical issues and each time bounces right back as if nothing ever happened. No matter what, he stayed positive and managed to keep a smile on not only his kids’ face, but everyone that came across him or spoke to him. He is an inspiration to many because he always stayed focused on the brighter side of things no matter what he was going through, he would give his last up to help someone if he had too. From working in Harris Casino for 27 years, washing dishes then retiring to take care of his kids and enjoy himself. Reginald lived a good life and loved everything about it but one thing for certain, nothing will ever come before his kids. Reginald had his first child when he was around the age of 60, had his second child around the age of 64, & for most it was shocking having kids at that age but for him it was never too late. He was always there for his children and would do anything he could for them. Reginald and his kids had a very strong bond that will never be broken. They will always miss their father and keep his name alive; they know he’s up there resting easy with his whiskey and Cadillac doing just fine now looking over them and his grandchildren. The family of Reginald would love to also express their gratitude to his care worker Trisha who was there in the times, that the family couldn’t be and always had his best interest in mind. He loved her very much and we know she loved him too and would do anything to make him feel comfortable or safe. They appreciate all the work that she has done, and Reginald does too. As days go by Christina will always continue to look for signs from him as the universe works in mysterious ways. I know I will always feel his presence, as he walks by my side watching over me. Everyone might know him as reg and or Reggie, but to me that’s who I call dad. I love him endlessly and he will truly be missed by everyone that knew him. “Beans beans good for your heart the more u eat the more u fart “was a saying he would always joke and tell his kids. Along with calling his daughter his Hard Rock. He loved playing the lottery, always had a new phone every week, had so much money he could pull it out of your ears. So many memories that couldn’t even fit on the longest paper there is. As he is no longer with me, I know his presence will be at all times and that’s all that matters. May you rest in peace now dad. We love you. God couldn’t wait to gain another angel.
