Raymond E. Parker, Jr.
On July 29, 2024, of Mullica Hill. Age 79. Beloved husband of the late Marie E. (nee Piniciotti). Devoted father of Michael R. Parker (Michele) and Lynn M. Spearing (Thomas). Loving grandfather of Lexi, Michael, Ryan, A.J., Michael and Madison. Proud great-grandfather of Cameron. Dear brother of Diane Baltra.
As we remember Ray, for his faith in God, appreciation to his family, love of country, and most importantly the unwavering love of his wife and soul mate Marie, our family would like you to picture Ray singing to Marie, some lines from her favorite Elvis song as they meet again in heaven holding hands.
Wise Men say only fools rush in, but I can’t help falling in love with you.
Like a river flows, surely to the sea, Darling so it goes, some things are meant to be.
Take my hand, take my whole life too, for I can’t help falling in love with you.
He may not have been able to carry a tune, but together they were able to celebrate this song and show one another each and every day unconditional love for over 57 years. Their love for one another will continue both now and forever and will never be forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Thursday, August 22nd 10:30 AM-12:00 PM at SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM.
In honor of Raymond’s life, in lieu of flowers or other acts of sympathy, the family would encourage any donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
