Ralph and I had much in common. We both have an accounting and finance background along with teaching. We would have some great conversations regarding the state of the economy and politics. He was a very smart and intelligent man! What I will remember the most, was his welcome, “How ya doing?” And you know, when he said that, you knew he truly was interested in you. What a faithful and loving husband he was to Gail, and a great example of a Godly man. He is my friend and brother-in-Christ! One day, when God calls me home, I know that Ralph will be waiting and greeting me with, “Hey, how ya doing?
Angie Sokorai left a message on March 7, 2024:
I’ll never forget how Ralph overheard me mentioning to my husband that I didn’t like sitting in the back at our weekly Bible study. As an introvert, I felt like it was hard for me to participate when I was on the outskirts of the group. The next week, Ralph told me to take his seat on the couch, and he took a seat in the back. I was very grateful. The following week, I hesitated to take the couch again, not wanting to take advantage of anyone. I looked at Ralph and he said, “Take it. It’s your seat.” His selflessness and kindness helped me to feel comfortable in the group, and to come out of my shell. I’ll be forever grateful.
