Philipp A. Fortunato

Philipp A. Fortunato, beloved son, brother and father, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, in Magnolia, New Jersey. He was 41. Phil was born in Philadelphia and was a lifelong resident of the area. Phil is survived by the love of his life, his daughter Joey “JoJo” Fortunato, his mother Deborah Blatt (nee Mondevergine), brothers Christopher and Danny Fortunato, Andrew Blatt, sister Samantha Blatt, grandmother Barbara Mondevergine, step-mother Denise Fortunato, his aunt, uncles, many cousins and friends, and his best buddy, Winston the Corgi. He joins his father, Frank Fortunato, his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather. Phil was a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan, never missing a Sunday to watch or attend a game. He was also a big fan of UFC, often appearing on radio shows as “Philly Phil,” sharing his insight and knowledge of the matchups. Phil was one the funniest, wittiest, caring, and most generous individuals to ever walk this earth. He always put others before himself and his laughter would carry a room.
