Pat was a wonderful person who I met while we worked at Whitman Elementary school- she was a kind person and very caring with the little 1st graders she worked with in the classroom♥️

I will very, very much miss Pat. Pat was, to me, the definition of no-nonsense. Yet I never heard her utter a harsh word or be cold to anyone. Through countless dinner time conversations she sparked an interest in cooking and through making her recipes I learned more than I could have in any class. And her love of spicy food re-introduced me to the world of Indian food. Pat was definitely my go-to for cooking questions and advice. Being exceptionally civic-minded, Pat always kept me up to date on what's going on in the world of politics after having made it my world for years as my career during an earlier time in my life. But after moving to New York, Pat made sure that I registered for every election and knew what was going on around the city, state, and country. You could always count on Pat to vote in every election and I'm grateful she always took to the time to make sure we all remembered to vote. I will miss her even more around election days. In Pat I had a kindred soul as a fan of cooking television shows, particularly Top Chef and Hell's Kitchen. Just a few days ago I shared with her that the next season of Top Chef was coming up, and we were both so excited for it. I'm so sad I won't get to share it with her. Pat loved to read and you could always catch her deep in some book and her giant shelf of novels was something to marvel at. I remember once traveling to south Jersey and visiting her at home. She made me feel exceptionally welcome (as she always did) and was so proud to show me around the place. She put me at ease immediately and I always felt comfortable with her. I will miss her around the dinner table and I will miss her kindred spirit and cooking advice. Thank you for everything Pat -- you made a big difference in my life and I will forever be grateful.

My sister Pat was an amazing person. We were very close as children and that continued as we raised our families together. Pat's passion for music was evident in the numerous concerts we attended, The Beatles, Elvis, Rolling Stones, Van Morrison just to name a few. One of my favorite memories is her carrying out the flaming Christmas Pudding at dinner on Christmas day. Her cooking skills were amazing, I still can't eat anyone else's coleslaw but hers. Her recipes will live on through her family. I will miss her terribly and can't imagine her not being here. I love you so much Pat RIP with your beloved Owen.
