Patricia J. Holton

Loving grandmother of Nik, Alexis (Ryan), Carly, Nina, Samantha (Mark), Jessica (Casey), Stephanie (Brett), Mike, Shawn, Christopher, and Mia. Proud great grandmother of Kyla, Aubrie, Adelyn, Adreanna, Dominic, Vienna, Casey, Weston, Cole, and Levi. Dear sister of Joanne Niemic (Tim) and the late Thomas Holton (Angela). Loved by nieces and nephews.
Pat was born to Thomas and Mary Holton on June 25, 1950. She grew up in Philadelphia with her sister Joanne and brother Tommy. One of Pat’s most favorite hobbies was genealogy. She had a passion for uncovering the stories of her ancestors and would spend her time making connections from all over the world. In 2009 Pat suffered a traumatic brain injury that resulted in a much different path in life. With an inability to regain her short-term memory, Pat lived completely in the present moment and did so happily. She remained positive and optimistic through all her sub-sequential health battles and consistently surpassed the expectations of her health care providers. Although unable to remember day to day details, Pat could recall the lyrics to all her favorite songs. You’d be sure to find Pat on the dance floor at any event, singing and dancing the night away. She was truly the life of the party. Pat passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She will be missed dearly and remembered for her carefree, joyous spirit.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday, January 20th 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
