Nicholas Randazzo, passed away peacefully at Doylestown Hospital, on November 14, 2021 with family by his side.
Born in Camden, NJ to Emily and Joseph Randazzo, he grew up alongside siblings William, Marie and Joseph. Nick attended Audubon High School, and after graduation, pursued interests in carpentry and optometry. He was drafted into the US Army shortly thereafter and served in the Korean War. Stationed overseas in Austria, he would routinely rave of the majesty of the Alps for the remainder of his life. Upon honorable discharge from the military, Nick began to dabble as a barber. He met Gloria Vasile and they married on October 12, 1957. They settled in Washington Township, traveled extensively and were married for 64 years. Nick’s true career calling arrived one day when an uncle secured him a role as a salesman in paper products industry for S. Walter Packaging in Philadelphia, PA. From points in upstate New York, through State College, PA to Ocean City, NJ, Nick cultivated a fiercely loyal client following along bustling Main Street corridors. Those clients would soon become life long friends, lasting well beyond retirement. Nick and Gloria gave birth to their only child, a daughter (Terri Lynn) and she was their shining light. They purchased a summer home in Ocean City, NJ where Nick was a popular and willing handyman for friends and neighbors alike. Nick and Gloria’s lives were further enriched when their shining light shone two times brighter with the arrival grandsons Ty and Cameron who affectionately referred to Nick as Pop Pop. Nick is survived by his wife Gloria Randazzo (Vasile) daughter Terri Lynn Stimmler (Andrew), grandsons Tyler Nicholas and Cameron Andrew along with brothers William Randazzo, and Joseph Randazzo Jr. Nick was an original, one of life’s genuine characters who left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
