Nicholas J. Schillaci,
passed suddenly on Saturday, February 10, 2024. A Senior Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin, he was passionate about his work and strived to be the very best in his career.
Nick was fiercely loyal, loving and generous with his friends and family. He was known to help with any problem and was a natural comforter and nurturer.
Nick had many hobbies. He was a car enthusiast and fan of Formula 1 racing, had a guitar collection and a lifelong love of writing and recording music, and played disc golf weekly with family and friends.
He challenged himself intellectually, even teaching himself how to write and speak German and Norwegian. He practiced photography, calligraphy, and songwriting. An avid gamer with friends worldwide, he fostered lasting friendships in many online communities. Nick loved his family dog, Baxter, and looked forward to his annual family vacations to the Outer Banks.
Survived by his parents James Schillaci and Sherry Schillaci (Berkbigler), sister Christina Tatulli (Dean) and brother Matthew Schillaci. Grandmother Lucille Schillaci (Tangi), aunts and uncles Richelle Jokerst (Scott), Kevin Berkbigler (Anna), Michael Schillaci (Dana), Russell Schillaci, and many loved nieces and nephews and great aunts and uncles.
Pre-deceased by grandparents Russell Schillaci, Bennett Berkbigler, and Wanda Berkbigler, aunt Karla Pavlovsky (Charles), and uncle Mark Schillaci (Lisa).
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Tuesday February 20th, 9:00-11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, 176 Stagecoach Road, Sicklerville, NJ 08081. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
