Debbie, so sorry for your loss, may he rest in peace with the Lord. As soon as I saw your dads pic a lot of great memories flooded my mind. The Basement, and your Dad always acted like he was so glad to see us and welcomed us in. R.I.P Mister DiPietro.

Nick along with his late brother Artie were two fine gentlemen of the Holy Name League at St. Monica's for many years past. The style of Nick's bowling can be imitated and it is, But there was only one Nick and he will be sadly missed. Rest in peace John Cavanaugh

Some things about my dad.....he always was happy and smiling and always trying to make someone else happy! He did everything for his family and always helped a friend. He was so good to me growing up and me and my friends have such fond memories of dad...always telling a joke!!! Even in the hospital he was trying to write a joke down! He loved bowling and was GREAT at it for 60+ years, on 2 leagues..(Oregon lanes and St. Monica's). His other hobbies were going to the turf club in South Philly each day and then to play cards with the boys. When he was done if Mom had something for him to do he did that...or any errand I had for him...He had a full life full of much love and I will always cherish the memories we had together...you will always be in my heart Dad for ever and ever!!!! your loving daughter, Debbie
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

As I put this onto paper memories of Nick are flooding through my mind. The Gentle Giant - who would call all the little ones wee-wee. The Family Man - who with love and compassion guided his family, and The Friend - who commanded a room with a rumbling sense of humor, who made everyone laugh til it hurt. These are only a few of the memories that will stay with my family when we look back and think of Nick. Memories that we will be grateful for and take us through our lifetime. Our love and deepest condolences go out to Mary, Debbie and Nick's entire family. What a hopping place heaven must be right now. Rest in peace "Nick the Fish". The Ervin, Green, and Merrill Families
