On March 4, 2021, of Sewell, NJ. Age 85. Beloved husband of 59 years to Roseanne (nee Racano). Loving father of Gina Viggiano (Paul), Paula Panichelli and Michael Panichelli (Donna Mongeluzi). Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Marisa, Vincent and Sophia. Dear brother of Joseph Panichelli (Eleanor). He is also survived by his sister-in-law Angie Racano, brother-in-law Nicholas Racano (Marie), treasured friends Martin and Barbara Ann (Bobbie) Taraska; many nieces and nephews and brother-in-law of the late Letta Liberi, Rita and John Wasiurko.

Class of ‘53 Southeast Catholic graduate, Nelson was Vice President-Systems & Procedures for Metropolitan Federal Savings, a member of Kiwanis Club and Knights of Columbus, Past President of Bridlewood Estates HOA and a teacher’s aide at Bankbridge Regional School. He worked in the banking industry for 50 years. He enjoyed dancing, playing cards, going to the casino, and spoiling his grandchildren.

We are so very sorry of hearing of the passing of Nelson. Our Families have been intertwined for such a long time. In very good times we have shared many memories. We ask the Lord to be a quiet strength for Roseanne and your Family. Love.
