Nancy “Nan” Lee Palmer

(nee Strain) On March 24, 2026, of Washington Twp. Age 85. Beloved wife of Bob. Devoted mother of Pamela Rea (James), Heidi Delaquila (Al), the late Scott Grattini, and her stepson Paul Palmer (Laura). Loving grandmother of Alyssa (Nate), Gabby, Kaila (Dominick), Tyler, and Emily. Proud great-grandmother of Hunter, Jackson, and Lucy. Dear sister of Marylou Breit and the late Bobbi Kennedy. Predeceased by Edward V. Grattini.
Nan loved her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, her husband, Bob, her family, friends, and the Jersey shore.
Born in Springfield, PA, Nan cherished her memories singing in a trio called The Stardusters and appearing on an episode of the Ted Mack Amateur Hour back in high school.
She and Bob were married in 1991 in the Victorian setting of Cape May during the Christmas season. She enjoyed their annual trip to Ocean City, NJ and celebrating the holidays surrounded by family.
She supported her family by working as a wholesaler of limited partnerships and an Executive Secretary in financial Institutions.
In her early years, Nan enjoyed playing tennis, bowling and oil painting. In later years you could find her attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and dance recitals. Even in the midst of pain and suffering, Nan always exuded a positive attitude and had a way of lifting the spirits of the people around her.
Nan is finally in her forever home with Jesus and all her loved ones that have gone on before her. She will be missed by the many lives she touched along the way.
Family and friends are welcome to attend her viewing Saturday, March 28th 9:30 – 11:00 AM at St. Johns Church, 149 Ganttown Rd., Turnersville, NJ 08012. Funeral service 11:15 AM. Interment will be Monday, March 30th 11:00 AM at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nan’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Shriner’s Hospital, Mercy Ships, or St. John’s Church at the above address.
