Michael W. Onesti
On March 14, 2025, of Washington Twp. Age 70. Beloved husband of Mae (nee Schiavone). Devoted father of Matthew (Alysha) and the late Michael and Marc. Loving grandfather of Emmie, Siena and the late Cameron. Cherished son of the late Anthony and Moreen (nee Dorgan) Onesti. Dear brother of Pete Onesti, Donna Saber, Mary Jane Dougherty, Theresa Saponara, Anthony Onesti, and Lisa Horner.
Michael began his career as an electrician and, through hard work and dedication, built a successful career as a project manager. He took great pride in his work, always striving to bring his best to every project and the people he worked with.
Beyond his professional life, he found joy in the simple things—playing golf with his son, engaging in thoughtful chess matches, and, most of all, spending cherished time with his beloved granddaughters, Emmie and Siena. Music was also one of his greatest passions; whether he was listening to his favorite songs or sharing them with loved ones, it was a constant source of happiness in his life.
A devoted sports fan, he loved cheering on Clemson Football and all Philadelphia sports teams. Whether it was celebrating victories or standing by them through tough seasons, his passion for his teams never wavered.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the lives he touched.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday 8:15 – 10:15 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo RC Church, Washington Twp. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
In honor of Michael’s life, in lieu of flowers or other acts of sympathy, his family would encourage any donations to The Superhero Project.
