Michael J. DelBuono, Jr.
On June 17, 2026, of Washington Twp. Age 81. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Bowden). Devoted father of Michael W. DelBuono and Gabrielle M. DelBuono. Loving grandfather of Gianni and Jackson. Dear brother of Ronald and Gregory DelBuono.
Michael Joseph DelBuono Jr., 81, of Turnersville, New Jersey, was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, veteran, and friend. Michael grew up on South Broad Street in South Philadelphia and graduated from Bishop Neumann High School. He proudly served his country as a Vietnam War veteran in the United States Air Force. He was a true craftsman who could do just about anything, always finding a way to fix, build, or create with his hands. He loved golfing with his brothers, Gregory, Ronald, and Nicolas, and some of his happiest moments were spent dancing with his beloved wife, Sharon, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Michael was a loving father to Gabrielle and Michael, and a proud grandfather to Jackson and Gianni. He will be remembered for his wild personality, unwavering kindness, and his one-of-a-kind, unfiltered sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. Above all, Michael loved his family deeply, and his presence, laughter, and love will be missed more than words can express.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday 8:30-10:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at SS. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church. Interment Gloucester County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to Veterans Helping Veterans, Veteran’s Advisory Council, P.O. Box 337, Woodbury, NJ 08096.
