Hi my friend I often think about you, we had many of good times together. You were there for me in a dark time in my life and you helped get me through it. Crazy how things happen, We lived across the street from each other for a couple of years we never said more than hi to each other. Until August 22nd 2012 I was sitting on my step early in the morning around 630am feeling confused hurt and lost. Out of nowhere you walked up to me and said it looks like you need someone to talk to. You introduced yourself "they call me little Mike" I said they call me big Mike " you than asked what was wrong I told you my fiance, out of nowhere got up and left no explanation no nothing, never had a fight or argument always thought we had a great relationship. But for some unknown reason she decided to leave. I was so devasted and heart broken it was written all over my face. I remember you saying that to me. Then you said everything gonna be alright i promise those were your words. Then you became my best friend you went to the gym with me every night taught me how to scrap encouraged me to do what I do best that was sing. You and Vinny made me get back to playing music which I did you guys came to every show. You guys also made me go on a TV show which I did and I did very well. I remember you being a little down you needed a place to stay I opened my door and you moved in. Me you and Vinny. We worked everyday scraping with my truck and yours so we could eat and pay the bills. All the time you were still taking care of your children. I remember my mom taking us to jc penny to buy us matching suits for my nieces wedding "we had a ball that night" you was such a gentleman to my mother, you also called her ma, and she loved you like one of here own. I can go on and on, but I guess what I'm trying to say is I wish I was there when you needed me that dreadful night. If I only knew a few days before that it would be the last time I got to talk to you. I want you to know I often think of you the good times I miss you my brother. But I know you are in a better place and no harm can come your way anymore. You once asked me if you could talk for 5 minutes anyone living or dead who would it be I said jesus . I remember you said you would like to talk to your dad who passed away when you was just a baby. Well I hope my friend your talking to your dad everyday. Look out for your family especially your girls I know how much you loved them. This is not goodbye this is I'll see you later. Continue to rest easy my friend see you on the otherside. I want to start off by saying I'm so sorry for your loss. The family is in my thoughts & prayers & I send my condolences. Even though I didn't see him very often, me and him had our own special relationship. He was the most protective about me and he was the one man I knew I could talk without being judged. I had the chance to become very good friends with Mike. Who is referred to as little mike. We shared the same name is was big mike he was little mike. A few years back in was going through a lot in my life, and Michael just going my neighbor somehow knew I was hurting really bad. So not really knowing me just to say hi, walked over to me and asked me if I needed someone to talk to. So I did we talked for hours that day. After that we became good friends "michael even moved into my home with me and my cousin vinny. We didn't really have much but between the three of us we scrapped metal did odd jobs and before we knew it we had a nice little buisness going. We'd work hard all week long go to the gym at night. Then come the weekends wed go to paddy whacks every Friday night so I could sing with the band than wed hit McDaniels down in South philly. We had alot of good times, I wish things could have stayed that way but like anything else things change. We got separated for awhile but we'd always make an effort to stay in touch unfortunately not as much as we should. I will miss you mike I hope your at peace my friend my condolences to your entire family r.i.p my brother
