Michael D. Curcio, “Tank”
On January 5, 2020 of Pitman. Age 47. Husband of Daria (nee Fumo). Devoted father of Michael J. and Christian A. Curcio. Loving son of Michael J. Curcio and the late Lorraine (nee McMaster) Michelini. Dear brother of Christopher Curcio (Kaitlyn), Matthew Curcio (Michele), Paul J. Curcio and Marissa Krasnick (Christopher). Loved by nieces and nephews.
Michael graduated from Wentworth University with his bachelor’s degree in Engineering where he also played baseball. Anyone that knew Mike knew how much he loved sports. Mike was an avid NY Yankee and NY Giants fan. He loved watching games with his family and friends either at home or at Schileens. The only thing Mike loved more was watching his sons Michael and Christian play sports. Whether on the football field, at bat, or on the basketball court Mike never missed a game or practice. He had a great time coaching them as well.
When Mike was diagnosed with ALS he hoped this disease would end with him. With the help of Pam Sidoti, he bravely endured clinical trials in hopes he would be the cure.
Mike would want to thank everyone who supported him through his battle, his brothers Matty and PJ, and especially WT Youth Football and WT Minutemen Baseball Organization.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday 2:00-4:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 4:00 PM.
